***St. John Elders met in a special session April 27th to discuss plans for safely restarting public worship services at St. John Lutheran Church. Pentecost Sunday, May 31st, has been chosen as the target date for worshiping corporately again as long as virus transmission trend lines remain favorable or even improve.  A large segment of our people at St. John are vulnerable to Covid-19, and our priority is to provide plans and procedures that ensure safety for all who come together in light of recommendations from local, state & CDC authorities. Elders will reassess the situation on May 12th with feedback from sister LCMS congregations in our circuit and region. Recorded worship and worship tools are provided each week for worship at home while we are apart. Pastor and the elders will continue congregational care. Elders are gathering procedures to ensure social distancing and best practices to follow when we resume public gatherings.
